LIOCO Sonoma County Chardonnay

LIOCO Sonoma County Chardonnay

  • $ 2899

The 2024 Lioco Sonoma County Chardonnay is a bright, terroir-driven white wine. Sourced largely from cool-climate, sustainably farmed vineyards in Western Sonoma County, it delivers a crisp, mineral-focused profile with zippy acidity, making it an excellent pairing for seafood and poultry.
Key Characteristics & Flavor Profile
Aromas: Green apple, lime zest, and white flowers, accented by subtle mineral undertones.
Palate: Notes of nectarine, candied lemon peel, and quince. It balances bright, high-acid freshness with a creamy, lees-aged mouthfeel.
Winemaking: The wine is fermented in predominantly stainless steel tanks with a portion in large neutral oak, avoiding heavy, buttery, or overly oaky characteristics in favor of pure fruit expression.
Alcohol: 12.7% to 14.0% ABV, depending on the exact bottling batch.
Food Pairings
Because of its crisp, high-acid nature, this wine is exceptionally food-friendly. It pairs wonderfully with dishes like shrimp and grits, fried cod, grilled chicken, or creamy pasta.
